BILLINGS – A planned construction project in the heart of Billings could draw big business tenants in the next few years.
United Properties, owner of the TransWestern Plaza found on North 31th Street, has begun creating space for a proposed fourth TransWestern building – a project that is in its infancy.
The plaza is home to an abundance of businesses found nationally and internationally including financial management giants Merrill Lynch and UBS, the world’s largest campground system KOA (Kampgrounds of America), and other businesses that occupy 95 percent of the three buildings.
“It’s got to make us feel pretty damn good if we have those kinds of names in the walls of our buildings. They chose us, we got to respect that and we got to make sure we take care of that,” said facilities manager Jerome Reis.
