BSED Response to COVID-19

Nothing could be more important today than the health and safety of our community. Big Sky Economic Development (BSED) is committed to following the recommendations from the Unified Health Command and RiverStone Health. We want to thank them for their guidance, recommendations and dedication to the health of our community. For BSED that means some significant changes during the next 30 days.
Our main goal right now is to actively be participating in “social distancing” to help flatten the curve and stop the spread, while still providing regular programming and resources for our community partners, program clients and all businesses in the region.
The BSED staff will be working and available, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, however our office will not be open to the public and BSED staff will be having very limited in person meetings during this time. We will be available via phone, email, conferencing, and virtual formats to continue communications with our community. We will also update our social media pages and website on a regular basis to provide resources and information.
As the community’s economic development organization, we also realize many of our local businesses will be negatively impacted by the disruption COVID19 is causing. We are working to build a resource list for businesses being impacted and provide helpful and timely information.
Big Sky Economic Development’s vision statement is to build a Vibrant, Healthy Economy. Please know that all of BSED’s decisions at this time will be made consistent with that vision.
