RISE & RESTORE SMALL BUSINESS SUMMIT

In response to COVID-19, the Small Business Development Center/Rock 31 Program have partnered with Big Sky Economic Development, Headwaters RC&D, Great Northern Development Corporation, and the MDT Small Business Enterprise Program to present the Rise & Restore Small Business Summit. This event will take place on April 14, 2022, 8:00 A.M.-7:00 P.M. at The Billings Depot, 2310 Montana Ave, Billings, MT.

Nikki Edmonds, creator, and owner of Canty Boots®, will be featured as keynote speaker. Nikki, of (cantyboots.com) disassembles and redesigns standard cowboy boots into short one of a kind ankle boots with pizazz. Nikki, together with her husband, raise their four children on a cattle ranch, continuing to access and disrupt the massive western fashion industry all while living in a town without a stoplight.

Join us as Nikki shares her trial and errors, getting comfortable with failure, building a brand through storytelling, and business during and after Covid.

Throughout the day attendees will have the opportunity to attend multiple breakout sessions including: Marketing Strategies, Human Resources, Top Apps that are Changing Small Business, and Business Culture.  You will hear from a panel of prevalent industries on how they pivoted during covid.  Watch the documentary “Edge of the Plains” following the stories of inspiring entrepreneurs in unexpected places, sign up for on-site tours, and finish the day with Bingo and prizes.
