The event held at Casper college this past weekend was the Wyoming veterans entrepreneurial training summit. It was presented by the SBA in the Casper college department of business, along with the veterans business out reach center, and the small business development center of Casper. Five veteran owned businesses competed for $5000 to help grow and advertise their business.
We started the day with classroom work to help guide veteran owned businesses to compete with the growing markets. The training was open to the veterans and their spouses each company competing for the prize money had to give a three minute pitch at the end of the day to the panel of local business experts. After which each team had to answer 20+ minutes of questions from the board of experts. It took it A nail biting 45 minutes to crown a winner. The winner was Symmetry Trailers, Mills, WY.
